Dana Enders is a modern impressionist artist who enjoys painting plein air. Her acrylic paintings include landscapes and seascapes of Georgia and the Florida gulf coast. Dana is also well known for capturing the soul and personalities of animals through her custom pet portraits.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Dana received her BFA degree with a focus in graphic design from Virginia Commonwealth University. She began her career as a professional graphic designer after moving to Atlanta in 1996 and has resided in Alpharetta for the past 20 years with her husband and two daughters. For the past 6 years Dana has been striving to make painting the priority in her life and is thoroughly enjoying having a brush in her hand instead of a computer!
Dana is an active board member of the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance and has received numerous awards in their gallery shows and competitions. Her work can be found throughout the year in local shows as well as restaurants such as the Fickle Pickle and Uptown Cafe in Roswell, GA. Dana also enjoys participating in arts festivals and for the last several years has participated in the Wesleyan Artist Market in Norcross, GA, as well as the Piedmont Arts Festival in Atlanta. Most recently, Dana has been selected as one of 40 Georgia artists that will participate in Georgia Color Plein Air, a 4-day event sponsored by Olmsted.
