Through a series of art exercises, observations, discussion and demos, you will begin to see the outdoors in a different light. You will be able to go outside with your paints and instead of seeing chaos, you will start to see the elements of the landscape as simple interlocking shapes of color, light and shadow that you can paint. This workshop includes concepts across all mediums, not just pastel, and no prior plein air painting experience is necessary!
